Originally seen here, here and here, I bet you didnʻt think there would be any surplus photos lurking on my hard drive! Since I am shooting myself, I do tend to take more photos than needed to make a 20-30 picture set, just because I donʻt see the results until I am done. The small view on my camera actually doesnʻt give a good idea of what Iʻm capturing.
For this set, I decided to use a technique Iʻve used in the past with black and white photos, but this time, I kept the color. It basically involves pumping up the contrast and definition so the photo looks a bit ʻharderʻ. You will notice below the transition from the originalʻs soft light and the manipulations involved. I may return to this with other sets, as I like the way they turned out.
