Fundoshi of ʻSpooky Fabricʻ - What Will They Think of Next?????

So I was out shopping at the local department store and decided to browse through the Halloween aisles. To my surprise, I came across some cheesecloth fabric with a very large open weave. It was hanging on cardboard and entitled ʻSpooky Fabricʻ. Just my luck, it was three yards long! I quickly purchased some black, grey and white.

I took these photos to illustrate how large the weave is...

For this time in my make-shift studio, I decided to play with how little light I could use. As a result of my experiments, you will be seeing some rather dark explorations for the next few months. For this fabric, I chose 1 strong white light angled in the front, and a single deep red gelled light from the opposite corner, behind my posing area.

Even though the fabric is soft, I cannot say it is comfortable. For adequate coverage (and as the blogs go on, you will notice this is not always true), I needed to double the fabric. This makes it a bit bulky in tying.

The loose weave also presents a different issue agains tender fleshy parts. Tie or bind too tightly, and there is a tendency to create discomfort and waffle-like patterns. Sorry - no photos to prove this.....trust me!

I didnʻt do much to the photos post-production...just the normal clean-up and cropping. I did play with post-production in the other shoots from this series, hoping to add a bit of variety to this little project!

Khaki Cheesecloth Fundoshi - The Last Design - Part Two

So many fundoshi being taken off....what words do I have today?  I will miss posing in this cheesecloth fundoshi.

The studio was getting hot, so I had to squirt myself down with cool water.

This fundoshi has just the right amount of sheerness for my taste.

Luckily, I still get to wear it whenever I want.

The light, soft and comfortable fundoshi gets a bit more sheer when wet.

Fundoshi in Red - Part Two

The first designed red fundoshi in a part two shoot.

I pretty much stayed near the ground for this shoot.

I did change the camera angle a couple of times.

Khaki Cheesecloth Fundoshi - The Stripping Shoot

My absolute favorite pair of shorts finally starting ripping and tearing from age.

So I sort of helped it along a bit since I no longer could wear them out.

A few strategic slits with a razor was all that was needed.

 Then some brute force.
