I like the work contrary for this particular take on the shoot in a brown voile fundoshi. I severely increased many aspects of the photos from an edge and detail perspective, sharpening the details.

2019 Hotel Series - Black Voile Fundoshi - Fade 1

For this take on the set wearing a black voile fundoshi, I decided to fade the colors down a bit. Not so much as to give a vintage feel, but enough to enhance the mood just a bit. To achieve this, I cooled the color balance a bit and increased the exposure while decreasing the overall contrast. I then added a vignette to get that darker-edge look.

2019 Hotel Series - Grey Voile Fundoshi - Deep Punch 1

Here is the second set of photos from the grey voile fundoshi shoot. You can tell that we are now delving into heavy-post-production mode. I darkened the look a bit, but at the same time punched up the saturation and vibrancy. I think the effect is best when the green shorts are in the photo.

2019 Hotel Series - White Voile Fundoshi - Wet 1

For the last shoot in the new 2019 Hotel Series, I couldn't resist getting wet. It was a bit difficult to get the tripod positioned and the door to the shower area to allow for photos, and I do admit getting the floor significantly wet. I made sure to clean up everything when I was done.

For this shoot, I had a white gauze shirt and thought it might go well with the white fundoshi. Both became quite revealing once water hit the fabric. You will see this after the break.

2019 Hotel Series - Purple Voile Fundoshi - The Bed Shoot - 1

As I go through posting these new Hotel Series photos, I realize all the fundoshi I packed were made of voile. Other than these had designs I like, they also are light weight and cool to wear. Since I was vacationing in Hawai'i, light weight and cool are good things!

2019 Hotel Series - White Voile Fundoshi - White on White 1

I saw the white curtains, and tried to mimic a normal studio shoot in this white voile fundoshi. Unfortunately, I could not be as precise with the lighting and the curtains weren't really white. Oh well, here we go!  For the first grouping, as always, a natural take on the photos.

2019 Hotel Series - Brown Voile Fundoshi - The Exposed Shoot - 1

While I may title this shoot 'exposed', I think there was little chance I was actually being seen by anyone. There were a couple to buildings that could peer into my balcony, but I doubt they noticed my prancing around in my fundoshi and various states of undress.
